Drying Beyond the Carpet Surface

Removing standing water is the first step. We use moisture readings to assess affected materials, then combine extraction, air movement, and dehumidification. Monitoring helps us adjust the equipment as the structure dries.

Our 4-Phase Mitigation Process:

Phase 1: Extraction & Inspection

We inspect the affected area, check moisture levels, and extract standing water with our truck-mounted equipment. The condition of the materials and the source of the water guide the next steps.

Phase 2: Air Movement (Evaporation)

High-velocity air movers are strategically placed to create a vortex of airflow across wet surfaces. This forces water molecules from the materials into the air. We don't just aim fans randomly; we calculate the required CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) based on the class of water loss.

Phase 3: Dehumidification

Once the water is in the air, it must be removed. We deploy industrial LGR (Low Grain Refrigerant) dehumidifiers that pull thirsty moisture from the air, collecting gallons of water per day. This lowers the relative humidity, allowing the materials to continue releasing moisture until dry.

Phase 4: Moisture Monitoring
